I can imagine taking a Master degree is though, but it will pay off! Having lectures from the Chief Scientist in Fast must be epic!:D

Well, regarding my new job, it takes some time to get into all the frameworks/libraries, and it is certainly a new experience to work with only Windows tools. I guess I will know in a few months if it is the right job for me!:)

Yeah, it has been an interesting first year I must say. But it has been quite hard as well. I had basically no life for two months before the last exams.

Hopefully the master year will be better. Being able to focus on one thesis is going to be nice. Hehe, no I haven't found a thesis yet. I got a few papers and information about a new project which is in the startup phase in Tromsø. It is a very big and interesting project about integrating personal data sources, sharing data and being able to get data based on context, for instance data based on your geographical location. I have actually not read that much about it yet. The master contract shouldn't be signed until september, I think, so I'm quite relaxed about it right now.

Actually one of our professors is the Chief Scientist in Fast, he has given us alot of details on what they are working on and what Microsoft has been doing lately. Working for them would have been cool but you feel a bit small when you see what the Ph.D guys are working on.

How is the new job in Bodø? Would you consider it as a challenging job?

Interesting stuff! Seems you're having a few courses, which will qualify you for a job at MS/Fast after finishing your studies!;)

Any thoughts on the master assignment yet?
